1. Product Introduction

UNID potassium carbonate is heavy potassium carbonate. Its pure K2O content can reach 68.12%. Potassium carbonate has a water solubility of 1120 G/L (20 ℃). It is a white crystalline powder with a density of 2.428g/cm3. Its melting point is 89l ℃. Potassium carbonate is soluble in water, and the aqueous solution is alkaline. It is insoluble in ethanol.

Usage:

  • Potassium carbonate can be used in glass, printing and dyeing, soap, enamel, preparation of potassium salt, synthesis of ammonia carbonylation, also used in the color television industry, mainly used in food leavening agent.
  • Mainly used for analytical reagents. Such as high purity analysis, emission spectrum analysis. Can also be used for silicate and insoluble sulfate flux, organic liquid absorbent and electroplating, chemical fertilizer, photography industry.
  • Used in glass, printing and dyeing, soap, enamel, preparation of potassium salt, synthetic ammonia carbonylation, color television industry, food as swelling agent; As gas adsorbent, dry powder fire extinguishing agent, rubber anti-aging agent, etc.; Used for washing and processing of exposed photosensitive materials.
  • It is used in the manufacture of picture tube glass shell in electronic industry, decarbonization of chemical fertilizer production, potassium salt manufacturing, used as analytical reagent, flux, and also used in the preparation of various potassium salts; Fluxes for analytical reagents, reference reagents and fused silicates and insoluble sulphates.
  • Chemical experiments do desiccant. It is moderately absorbent and can form potassium carbonate with two crystalline waters (K2CO3·2H2O), but interacts with water more slowly. Suitable for dry alcohol, ester and other neutral organic matter as well as general basic organic matter such as amines, alkaloids. However, it can not be used as a desiccant for acids, phenols or other acidic substances.
