Product Description

White granular Turkey borax pentahydrate, also known as disodium tetraborate pentahydrate. Its molecular formula is Na₂B₄O₇.5H₂O. Boron content 15%. Its density is 1.815g/cm³ and its melting point is 75 ℃. Borax pentahydrate is easily soluble in hot water and glycerol, and slightly soluble in ethanol and carbon tetrachloride. The aqueous solution of borax pentahydrate is alkaline. When heated to 120 ℃, the crystal water is completely lost.
