Purity 99.9% ETiBOR-48 borax pentahydrate, also known as disodium tetraborate pentahydrate. Its molecular formula is Na2B4O7.5H2O. Boron content 15%. Its density is 1.815g/cm3 and its melting point is 75 ℃. Borax pentahydrate is easily soluble in hot water and glycerol, and slightly soluble in ethanol and carbon tetrachloride. The aqueous solution of borax pentahydrate is alkaline. When heated to 120 ℃, the crystal water is completely lost.
