Potassium nitrate is an inorganic substance, commonly known as fire nitrate or soil nitrate, and KNO3 refers to the nitrate of potassium. It is colorless transparent orthorhombic crystal or rhombic crystal or white powder, odorless, non-toxic, salty and cool.
